What Connection Decoder is, and is not

Connection Decoder reads a conversation and suggests what each person may have meant and how it may have landed. A reading is an interpretation, not a fact, and it can be wrong. You decide what, if anything, to do with it.

It is not therapy, counselling, medical, legal or any other professional advice, and it is not a crisis service. If you or someone else is in danger, contact your local emergency number.

Who can use it

You must be 18 or over to create an account on the website. The ChatGPT plugin is available to ChatGPT users under OpenAI's terms and age rules.

What you may share

Share only conversations you took part in, and only when you have the right to share them. You may not use Connection Decoder to:

• monitor, track, profile or harass anyone;
• write messages meant to manipulate, threaten or deceive someone;
• process content that is illegal, or that sexualises anyone under 18;
• break, overload, reverse-engineer or get around the limits of the service.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account. You can delete it at any time in Settings.

Credits and subscriptions

Some readings use credits. Credits and subscriptions are sold on the website and paid through Stripe; the price and what it includes are shown before you pay. A subscription renews until you cancel it, and you can cancel from your account. Refunds are handled as consumer law in your country requires.

The ChatGPT plugin does not sell anything.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you share. You give us permission to process it only to provide the service to you, as described in the privacy policy. The readings we write for you are yours to use.

Changes and availability

Connection Decoder is in beta. Features may change, and the service may be interrupted or discontinued. We may update these terms; if a change is significant, we will tell signed-in users before it takes effect.

Responsibility

The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for decisions you make based on a reading, or for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law, or liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending

You can stop using Connection Decoder and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.
